What is A DOHO?

A DOHO (Director of Home Operations) brings professional oversight, strategic planning, and hands-on management to the projects, services, and practical responsibilities involved in life's transitions and ongoing home operations.

♦ Planning & Guidance: We help you explore options, establish priorities, and develop a clear plan, whether you're considering senior living, navigating a loss, or managing household needs.

♦ Evaluation & Coordination: From comparing senior living communities to identifying qualified service providers, we help you make informed choices and bring the right people and resources together.

♦ Project & Home Operations Management: We manage approved projects, relocations, property-related responsibilities, and ongoing household services, with on-site representation when needed.

♦ Progress & Accountability: We coordinate timelines, monitor progress, address issues, and keep you informed as the work moves toward completion.

For more than twenty years, I've led complex initiatives involving multiple organizations, competing priorities, and people with different responsibilities.

When my own family faced a major transition, I realized that the planning, coordination, and project management skills I'd relied on throughout my career were exactly what our experience had been missing.

That's why I created DOHO Life.

Because every family deserves one trusted professional who helps them move forward with clarity and confidence.

When my aunt could no longer live safely on her own, I became her Power of Attorney, and suddenly I was managing far more than her care.

There were professionals to consult, decisions to make, services to arrange, and countless details to coordinate. Yet despite everyone’s best efforts, something was missing.

Every professional cared.

Every professional had an important role.

No one owned the transition.

This Started With My Aunt

Sometimes what families need most isn’t another expert. it’s someone to bring every expert together.
